CDI upgrade

Does anyone know for sure what I need to upgrade my '98 SRX 700 to the newer CDI with the built in detination sensor? Or know of an after market detination sensor ?

You'll need the magneto, flywheel, CDI, wiring harness, all other electronics (headlight, all relays, etc), water rail, and the DCS sensor off of a 2002 SRX. Sounds expensive to me.

Is there another CDI box that could be used on a srx 700 than does not retard ignition rapidly after 8600 RPM?? Does the srx 600 CDI have the same igntion map???

Pat Hauck used to sell them, not sure if he still has them or not. It'll run ya about $500 for one.
