Just thought this would interst some/all of you. Just read what other are saying about Yamaha and the other manufactures regarding 4 strokes!

I rode a 03 700xcsp before I got my FST. The FST has decent throttle response, but compared to the 700 xcsp it is not as good (but i turned my idle up a bit on the 700). Now however I do feel that if I turn the idle up a little bit on the FST the response will be about the same as the 700xcsp. The 700 might still be a little better, but I only put on 34 miles,I do like the ride a lot better with the m-10. Now compared to the Apex Gt their is no comparison on response, the apex has it blown away, hit the throttle and hold on. I have been a Polaris guy for ever but after ridin the Apex I may change my mind in a year or two. If you like a lot of power and don't mind which brand you buy, spend the extra grand or so and get the Apex, you won't be disapointed that's my opinion.

cant wait to see what they do next year
I dont see them sitting around AT ALL
but for now I will stick with the viper. simply because it isnt dead yet lol! always get my $$ worth

There are way more new four strokes on the trails than i expected to see. Im thinking yamahas taking over the industry quickly, all it takes is one ride. last weekend there was a fourstroke in damn near every group of sleds i saw.

The Apex does have some issues though. A few people on the 4-stroke site are complaining that the handwarmers dont get very hot and that the idler wheels are cheaply made. However, if thats all people have to complain about with a first-year sled, Yamaha did a pretty good job on the Apex/Attak.
You should see some of the threads on HCS of Cat loyalists who rode an Apex and loved it.
Ive noticed not just a lot more Yamaha 4-strokes, but just more Yamaha sleds period on the trails that in ride in the Minocqua, WI area.

millinocket rocket, I figure as much. what I am realisticaly thinking is 10-12k miles. once I need to start dumping the cash into it, I would rather be running a new one.........season is short, rather ride than wrench
