$300 bucks a year for the viper with Allstate - although they didn't want my bass boat - told they would insure it, but it would be expensive - $422 a year for the bass boat through progressive - they didn't want the Viper $700 bucks a year go figure - progressive does suck if you have a claim.
I do not know about NY, but in Michigan Liberty Mutual has the best snowmobile rates hands down. I was with State Farm for all my stuff last year when I bought my 02' Viper and State Farm quoted me something like $240.00 per year. After asking around I was told to check out Liberty Mutual. My annual premium with Liberty is $92.00. The only hitch is that this policy is a rider on a car insurance policy so you have to insure atleast one vehicle with them. I moved my four vehicles and home insurance over to Liberty Mutual for combined annual savings of $600.00 with lower deductables than I had with State Farm. It can pay to shop around. G.B.

I ended up getting "Foremost" I have my 97 Formula with just Liability and my 02 Viper with Liability and Theft for $230 a year. Not to bad seeings I am 23 years old.

i went through the same thing with my vector. the company quoted me some outragious rates because they said it was 1000cc's. i tried to explain the fact that it's a 4-stroke and it rated as the same H.P. as the viper, but they didn't want to hear it. so we did end up finding another company to go to, but i'm only paying for liability. full coverage was over $1000. i'm 25 with no tickets and one accident.
