if you grab the secondary on my Viper, you can move it backwards about 1/8th of a turn without moving the track - is this normal or does the chain tension need adjusting? only have about 1200 miles and the chain tension was done at 500 miles.

This is normal play. To make sure your chain is tesnioned correctly, just look in your manual on how to check. Your sled might not have the same procedure as mine which is to lossen jam nut, then hand tighten bolt and then tighten up jam nut.
