Does anyone have a absolutely junk trailer with a title? I built my trailer 7 years ago and use it all the time. But now I think my days are numbered. I need a title to get plates. I went to get a home built title and they want $200.00 to process it. I need a title from a trailer with leaf springs, not torsion springs. All I want is a clear title.

I guess I kinda like the new trailer licensing in Michigan. Except we have 4 trailers.... all at $75 a piece. Needless to say, at the moment we only have 2 plates.... shhhhhh!!!!!!
Im in Iowa. We can make trailers all day long and liscenes them. They dont want pictures, proof or anything. Unfortuantely there are some trailers that shouldnt be on the road. They wait for the law enforcements to take care of unsafe trailers.
i have a 2002 alumna double tilt trailer in michigan. located in allenton michigan. its in good shape. missing one ski tie-down bar but it is in good shape for how much i used it. has a new spare tire. all lights work!!! very reliable. i just towed it from washington state to michigan last summer.. has bearing buddies on axles. i will be purchasing an enclosed next year. $400 and its yours.... it costed me i $1,200 new...
