Does anyone use IPONE Oil. This is the first I've herd of it. A friend of mine said the dealer he was at recomended it for the SRX so the power valves would stay cleaner, this true or what's your opinion on this oil. It is red and smells like strawberry....lol
 
I've never used it but from what I've heard, it's a good oil, but not great. It's only semi-synthetic.
 
ajviper - that is incorrect, I have the bottle in hand and it clearly states fully synthetic.

Going to try it for the first time this year and excited to see how it works.
 
I've started using it late last year. Good stuff. I will not go back to Yammi lube.Our SRX's are under alot of stress and they need all the help they can get.

I know they state synthetic, but I don't believe it's 100% synthetic. No where on their website do they say it is. It's strange that they list the 4 stroke oil and the 2 Stroke R as 100%, but not the 2 stroke racing oil. I'll have to really check it out. I thought about giving it a try, but passed on it after hearing others say it was only a semi oil.

Kinger - Does the bottle state 100% or just a 'synthetic oil' ?

I have 15 liters of this out in the shed. Its 100% synthetic. Its smokless and pours down to -54. Its the best you can get. Power valves wipe clean with a rag.
 
I wonder why their site doesn't stat it being 100%. I've always used klotz, but wouldn't mind trying somthing else for a change.
 
it smells better in the jug than klotz, but I do like the smell that klotz puts off when warming up. it is hardly noticable, but it is soapy smelling. I am going to run 2 tank fulls of klotz, check my valves and clean them, then do the same with some Ipone. Maxdlx

Yeah i think I'll clean my powervalves again after our trip to capebreton 6th 7th and 9th. Then use the Ipone and see how clean the powervalves are...
 
There any snow in Cape Breton yet? Would there be more snow town towards Truro and Collingwood? I am in Moncton.. We need more snow like yesterday.
 
I beleive they are snowmobiling in Sutherlands Lake area which is just past the wentworth ski hill. Also they are going at the Dalhousie club now which is just outside Truro. They were supposed to start grooming last weekend.

Yeah I think there is only a foot in Cape Breaton right now... We have about 6 inches in Amherst, Truro I think has a bit more... but it's going to get mild in the next few days calling for rain or snow, man they're smart ...lol Anytime you want to go for a run in the Amherst Area let me know that goes for anyone.... :WayCool:
