I installed a set of used ones and they are very difficult to turn and not sure when it bottoms the screw. I screwed the aluminum clip down to the corner screw on the float bowl is this right? I tried pushing them down through the hole to get less of a bend but this didn't help much. I figure it's bent at too sharp of an angle so it's restricting the movement. Any ideas or sugggestion are welcome.

OK I solved my own problem so if anyone else has this issue heres what I did. First I removed the adjusters and used some Polaris clutch cable oil (junk I had on the shelf from my youth when I didn't know better and actually bought Poop from Roseau) and a cable oiler to lubricate the inside of the tubes. Then I applied a dab of low temp grease to the screw driver and and twisted it around a bunch to get this lubed up also. Then I turned the carb rack upside down and sprayed WD-40 into the hole that the air fuel screw goes into and backed the screw all the way out and back in a couple of times, and used compressed air to clean off excess oil and applied a dab of low temp grease into this hole also. Then I reinstalled the remote adjusters and with the adjuster cables straightened out turned the knobs in and out several times bottoming each way. Interestingly the max you can turn these air fuel screws out is 3 turns. Anyhoo after working these in several times I tried bending the cables to varying degrees to see what would allow the easiest movement and looked for the optimal mounting location for the holder clip. I came up with the PTO carb adjuster clipped to the front left corner of the CTR carb float bowl. The CTR adjuster clipped to the MAG front left corner float bowl. The MAG adjuster I criss-crossed and clipped it back to the front right screw on the CTR carb float bowl. Right now the knob ends are just loose but I'm going to see about zip tieing them to something near the top of the rack so they won't be flopping around rubbing against any metal. BTW- temp today here in Northern Illinois reached 42 degrees and I could tell the difference in a full turn of these screws just runnig my Viper on the stand. It will be nice to be able to keep the idle-1/4 throttle circuit dialed in at all temps this winter. No more losing a sled length off the line because of low end bog...anyone want to race?
