which plugs am I supposed to run in a viper? I always ran ECS in my srx and I don't know what to run. The manual says BR9ES but I'm thinking that might not be right?
How about the modified guys? Do we benifit from ecs. Also the gap on ecs is incorrect for the Viper and set at .017 and has to be opened quite a bit to achive .028-.031 stock spec. I run a CPR 780 and wonder what gap I should be using or if it even matters much. Does anyone have input to what happens when we use a smaller gap than the factory recommends.--mac--
You can really change a plug by adjusting the gap. the wider the gap the hotter the spark. We open up the gaps on a sled when its flooded. it makes the plug hotter and helps clean it out. it can also help burn a hole in the plug. if a pipe maker has you running a smaller gap its to cool it down some. maxdlx
