NYTRO Suspension & Pic Problems

Thanks for all your help guys, I learned a few things of interest along the way.
If i learn anything new to help someone out along the way i'll pass it along for anyone who cares. Met the people at T.Y. at MN haydays this year. Great web site.

Yamaha hammer, I strongly disagree with your statement about 96 studs not being enough. If the chassis is set up well, and your not looking for ice drag racing, 96 is a great trail setup. any more could be over kill. Its a 120 hp sled! I have 141 in my 170 hp Viper and it hooks like a monster with the same ripsaw track and 1.375 woody's that this guy is running. Too many people over stud these days. More is not better. A couple buddies are running 144 on 05 Mach Z's with 100 hp NOS kits on them and they are hooking them up.
Make sure that they didn't stud on the closed windows. That is the only thing I could see being the problem. Other than that, be sure that your track is runnin true and straight.

My understanding is the picks & quanities are fine but they should have come with the tall nuts. I heard they have had few problems with the shorter nuts on the 1.375" pics. It seems that they dont tighten down far enough resulting in some pic wobble and causing them to snap under stress. As far as the ski lift goes replace the 13mm stablilizer bar with a 15mm and some minor chassis adjustemts and it should keep the skis planted, so i'm told.

Almost 700 explain to me hooking up are you telling me a 170hp sled will hook-up like a monster with 141 studs? What kinda surface are you running?? Also trail carbides I'm a little confused, can you please share your pattern with me I'm a little curious!
