Yes...that statement is true for most later model Yamaha's.

its only something like 1-2 horsepower if ur lucky unless ur a hardcore racer and u need every horse u can, do what i did... i did it just for the sound.and i cant notice a thing maybe its just me.

I have one on mine,If I put the stocker back on I'll beat everyone even more. LOL, I like it because you save on a few pounds and it looks and sounds alot better

No one has ever posted horsepower losses or gains on TY that have actually done a dyno pull with the can on that I can remember. I'm gonna do it soon just to see how it comes out, then we'll know for sure. We'll pull with and without a Bender can. If I missed that post then somebody tell me.

if you want to save alot of weight and have a great loud sound go with a pat hauck growler they are like a stinger for a zrt he says they add 5 horse but saves a ton of weight but be careful they are loud
