I would like to buy a 1.25 inch track for my 98srx 700,i was told there is two different types a staggered and one with lugs all the way across like a full bar.
Is there a part# or special name for it.I have also heard alot about #9818 what is the difference.I ride alot of different conditions and would like to do some racing with friends.Right now i have a stock track and i know this sled can kick a little butt if i can get it to hook.I do not want to stud, had it on pavement and it hauled,it has a few things from bender so it should go better. Any suggestions would be appreciated.Triples rule.

Staggered paddle is the way to go. the 9818 is the 1.25" six pitch predator track made by camoplast. I have it on my sled and it is great. You will notice a HUGE difference compared to stock. Hooks very well. In my experience when i installed this track, the notches didn't quite seem to be big enough. I ended up taking out the front heat exchanger protectors. You could probably leave them in without problems. Great track for all around conditions In my opinion, better than the ripsaw in everything but hard pack. Some people will tell you different. Toss a coin between the predator and the ripsaw. With either option, you will get way better performance compared to stock.

Thanx for the info, the staggered would be ok for racing too? What is the price difference? I don't have tunnel protectors.

I also didn't have tunnel protectors. There are two metal bars at the front of the heat exchanger near the front of the track. These are the protectors I was talking about. You should have those. What kind of racing are you doing? The staggered paddle is the way to go for anything like sno-x, racing on trail etc. For Ice it's a different story... but only strictly for Ice would I not use a staggered paddle. It's basically the best performing track in snow. I got my track for $600 CDN tax included. (about $500 USD) but there are tracks going for cheaper. You can probably pick up a good deal on this site. I wouldn't even consider buying a full block paddle track after what the staggered paddle has done for me.

most of my racing would be on packed down tracks on a lake, would like to try racing at our hill climb and straght snow drags.these conditions are always deep loose snow.I would really like to show my buddys what its got.thanks again for any replies, this site is pretty good for info.

put the 9818 on the wifes 01 600, what a difference the track made in all conditions, you can feel the sled pull now, I acually like riding it now.
