My buddy has a 01 Vmax Dlx, I pulled all of the shocks (shot), should I go with the revalved Viper Ohlins on the front? What about the rear, what do you suggest? I am wanting to order shocks today or tommorrow, please advise.
I should add that he is 5'10" and maybe 185. And is 62 years old, he is not a ditch banger, and most riding is on trails. But the trails do get beat up, looking for a good ride for him.

I would look for Viper take offs. You can usually find them cheap. Unless there is someone close by where you are to rebuild.
