Hi fellas i was wanting to know if anyone has had the same problem ,the headlights only work on low beam i've checked both bulbs, and the hi-low switch all seem tobe in good working order any ideas would be greatly appreciated was thinking maybe the headlight relay is bad anyway of checking it out thanks Steve. :o|

does the tach flicker when you flip the switch to high beam? does the indicator(highbeam) on the guage light up?

no theres no flickering at all on the tach ,and the high beam light doesn't come on either only have the low beam works and tail light and gauge lightsfuel gauge works too and the temp light comes on at start up

ok, then I would start at the headlight plug, check the voltage on each side of the plug, low beam, then switch to highbeam, see if you have anything there at all???
Then after that- go to switch on bars, check with digital voltmeter at the blue wire, with switch on high beam, should have good voltage at idle, then move to the light green wire check and see what it is(low beam wire), if you dont have voltage on the blue wire while on highbeam, then move back to blue relay, this is headlight relay, check the yellow wire, this is the highbeam wire, the low beam is the light green.
When the switch is on highbeam, it takes all available 12 volts and goes thru the relay directly to headlight bulb. If ya have voltage going into the switch on both wires, and only out on the low beam, then switch is bad, if the high beam wire has juice coming out and not on headlight plug, relay is bad.

Got it figured out had 1 wire at the main plug (light green /black and yellow )wire plug not connected together was bypassed by accindent wouldn't supply power to the one side of the realy knew it had tobe something fairly simple also found that a headlight relay from a ford vehicle is the same you can use a Bosch ,Siemens or Omron relay found them at the auto wrecker for free man i'am so happy now yee haw thanks.... :WayCool: Steve
