.Ibought a 97 sx 2 years ago from a dealer near where i live and he threw in a 1" kimpex sno x track with the deal.being very busy the last couple years (little ones) i've only rode about 500 miles .this year in anticipation of getting back to doing some serious riding again i decided to install the track.well all was good til i went to rotate to tighten the set screws(bearing collar) the track would not move (heat exch protectors) got them off scrubs on the tunnel and the heat exchanger. this a 1" lug what now.i would also like to stud again :o| sell track ,buy yamaha? 8 tooth what gearing ,sell sled buy apex ( j/k wife would have my head for being gone all the time)

I ran a 1.1 with studs on a 97 700 sx, w/ no rubs at all. Measure the track to be sure it is a 1 inch. Maxdlx

well gentle, i f ed up ! the heat exchanger protecters had to come off(paddle goes accross the track holes at 1" however while rotating back and forth i did not notice a bit of a kink in the track (from being rolled up) i rotated to another area of the track and it clears. For some reason this dawned on me this morning before i went to work ,so i went and looked and tada clearance(not alot though) .thanks for all your help! now i need to put the suspension in ;)!
