I have a 2000 srx that when started 2 cylinders are cold. Plugs look wet but no burn on them. I have changed coils out with different ones still not a good spark. I have by passed tors still nothing. I have cleaned the carbs and powervlaves all clean. I look as best as I could for wire harns wear but I couldn't find any. I compression tested it. Gauge was 120 across the borad.
Here's what happened, it was running fine around my yard. I loaded it up let it warm up, trailed it maybe 10 miles with half a tank, ran 2 miles fine no problem and then all of a suden it would back fire and not go above 5000rpm. Put new plugs in when I got home still same problem.
I was reading an old post about the cylinders filling up with gas and flooding them. Should I pull the motor over several times to see if I could dry them out a bit. Sorry for the long post just frustrated. If anybody is near Brighton, Mi. I have rest of week off and wants to stop by and help give me a call at 517-404-6070.
Thank you,
Matt
