Anybody ever have any trouble with the LCD gauge fogging up? Mine does on chilly days. I have checked the boot where the wire plugs in the back and all seems fine. Shame to have such a nice display only to have it frost up inside. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
mine did it when it was new too, all I did was take the back panel off and took it out in the sun for a whole day 85 degrees out, must of had moisture in it, cause I put it back together and never had another problem with it. I had to take mine apart the water left a waterspot right in the middle of the inside of the lens, so I wiped it with glass cleaner and very soft towel.
Since the sun isnt a option now, maybe try to place the assembly on a heat register ovenight and see if that will dry it out.

If you have a 02 or 03 then you need the rubber boot that they put on the 04's or newer. The boot part # is 8ES-82599-00-00. Make sure you use electrical tape on the boot to seal it around the wire. I have one to add this weekend.

Also, add lots af dielectric grease to the plug as well.
