The sxr have rebuildable aluminium shocks and plastic skis.
The vmax has softer steel non rebuildable shocks, steel skis electric start and reverse.
The sxr is better on bumpy trails.
The electric start you can live without, Yamma triples are very easy to pull.
The reverse is a good think to have when you go in and out of garage, on and off trailer.
