Okay, I rode today after making some changes on my skid - I moved the FRA back from the stiff setting to the middle, and as advised I tightened up the center shock almost to the end. The trails were rough and this thing beat me like a red headed step child, so bad, I tipped the thing on it's side at the restaraunt and moved the FRA back to the stiff setting. this helped smooth things out a bit, but I'm wondering if I should back off the center a little bit or stiffen the rear shock a little more -

I did notice that at about 65 mph, it was soaking up the bumps like a champ, how do I get that kind of action at slower speeds?

I am wondering the same thing. How are your transfer rods 75/25 50/50? How much do you weigh? I'm trying to figure mine out to. Thanks

There are 2 different opinions on how to set up sleds, some go the way you did, and some go oppisite. You can try getting your limiters set where you want them, then with the track off of the ground, loosen the center shock to zero preload, which is just where the spring is almost loose enough to move up and down. Then tighten it up 3 turns. Then use the rear shock to get your gap at 50/50. then give it a spin. This method works better with a straight rate center shock than the progressive, but will work either way. Try it and let us know which you like better. Maxdlx

ps if it bottoms alot, turn the center shock 1 turn at a time until it stops.
