it seems the 97 700 requires an 8ch drive belt,mine came with 89L ,it is for a 600 according to to my info,the after market people have the 97 700 lumped in with the rest.what does everyone else use ?is the sheave angle different on the 97 700 ?
est belt I ran on mine was the 8dn. Maxdlx

Sheaves are all the same on all primaries. 8dn is a harder belt. It will last a long time but raise your rpm,s by 2-300.
