Just curios what you guys do when back from riding ? Any cleaning, checking plugs (how they must look like), belts, anything....? I just want to know what are the good things to do.....And I think it is an interesting point for new riders like me...

All I do is put the stand under the rear bumper to get the track off the ground and put the sled cover on.

Clean the sled and trailer if necessary. Just head down the the local car wash and spray them down. then I'll coat the suspension with wd-40. Clean the rest of the sled with Honda Polish and she's good for the next ride.

me 4.deal with everything the next day.
I will 5th that on the car wash. A buck goes along way to keep it looking new. The next day, clean underthe hood, spray yamaha silicone spray on all the metal parts, grease and put on stand. Clean the trailer too.

I just clean the road grime off, pull the cattail fuzz out of the hood and pull it into the garage for the next ride. Every couple of rides I check the chain case lube, give the steering linkage and suspensions a shot of lube. In the spring I spend a couple hours on it getting it ready for storage. I always store it in the garage.
Gees guys, you ride Yamaha`s.
Park the sled and fill it up with gas & oil and you are ready for the next ride.
Hehe, just kidding. But, basically that`s what I do.
I never trailer my sled along the main roads, I park it outside my house and from here I can ride where I want. I`ve found out that the sleds rarely get dirty which is why they tend to look newer then they are.
Before I take off the next day, I always remove ice and shit from the boogie.
If there is some ice preventing the running wheels from rotating, you`ll ruin it because it will get "uneven" , and when it loosens you will feel that the rear end of your sled is vibrating, been there done that.
My friends and I use to wrench on the sleds in the summer. Mostly because we don`t have a garage to wrench in, but it`s so nice to get together and grab a coke and talk about all the nice trips we made and all the times we got stuck ands on

clean my powervalves after every trip. Considering every trip is around 1000 miles, it's usually time

I have the good furtune of beng able to pull i tin a heated garage
no trailering so no issues there. I let it warm up over night. next morning I give it a quick wax if I have time before heading out, but at least a wipe down. throw some grease in it, just a quick visual check under hood and rear suspension. thats about it. probably a little excessive, but at 5009 miles, it still looks damn near new
my pride is evident there, hope to get pics this next week!

cry! because i know the weather will turn shitty like it always does, and i know i'll have to wait another month to ride!
No trailer so I don't worry about that, but i do put it in the garage (heated) Clean a little and fill oil and gas.....But all that after a good 3 hour nap.....
Thanks for all the info guys.....

Greasing all the zerk fittings is a good idea to get all the water out. Depending on how much energy I have left I try to get this done. You should check all your bolts/nuts before you ride also they occasionally can come loose.

Yes this is a very good thing to do.
I give each zerk 2 full pumps. before every ride
