I thought my hifax where low so i took em out and figured out that something had put a grove in the rail or something because the hifax are split in half what could this be from?

Just out of speculation, how deep is the snow there? rocks can do quite a number on sliders and if they are low enough, go right through.... found that out from experience. It only split my slider half way though lol.

Check all your track clips. Also check the rods that run thru the rubber where you track clips clip to, they get worn and break and pull thru the rubber to be exposed. (I just change out my track and had some loose clips and some broken rods)

Ya if you sliders are split right down the middle, it is most likely from a recurring problem somewhere from your track. Just slowly rotate your track and look for something that may cause wear in the sliders. Loosen track, prop on a stand, rotate by hand and take a look.
