Can anyone guess why my sled was overheating after the dealer welded the heat exchanger?

what the hell.. im sorry but thats HALIROUS! So the Dealer Welded it up, and put it back in the sled for you, Not Knowing that theres a ..... end of a HOSE thingy in it?? LMFAO!!! Shows you how smart people working there really are..
 
it is a power washer nozzle. i bet they are still looking for it. Take the sled and the exchanger to them, and let them finish the job for free. Maxdlx
 
I see a fitting or "something" in there..... what is it, and is it welded solid or just loosely stuck in there....

still trying to understand how it might have been forgotten..

that is a quick change nozzle for a preasure washer, the end is color coded to tell you what patern it sprays and or volume.

nice way to test a weld job, 1500psi, ready to go
 
Hey, I lost one of those this summer only it was a red one . . .

It is out in the yard somewhere. Wasps filled the orifice, and I didn't realize it until after I had pressurized the line by hitting the trigger. I released it to see what was wrong and it flew at least fifty feet off out in the yard somewhere.

Maxdlx is the winner! The dealer welded the heat exchanger up and must have gone to power wash the slag out. It is a tip for a power washer. You won't believe this but the sled ran 1500 miles with it in the cooling system. I could not diagnose it so I went to change the exchanger out and found it sticking out of the heat exchanger pipe. I think who ever did it stuck the power washer in the hose that goes from the left side cooler up to the front exchanger. Then the fitting worked its way down the hose and stuck in the exchanger. Don't you think who ever did that would have realized their power washer tip was missing? If I would have paid them to change the heat exchanger out they never would have told me what they found and I would have been out even more $$$. I can't wait to see the look on their face when I bring it in.

Ahhh! You are right, they were testing the weld not washing it out.
