I know the stock spec calls for 2 turns out, but I was wondering where other SXR 600 triple users have their's set? I'm trying to fine tune a slight hesitation off the line, and wondering whether I need to go lean or rich?
Thanks in advance.

I have mine at 2.5 turns out. Got rid of the bog but not the hesitation. I'm looking at reed spacers now. You may want to try them too, or other people will tell you to try the reed stopper notch.
You will not completely get rid of the hesitation until you do either of the above.

Already have the spacers installed. I'll try 2.5 turns.
I've heard about the "lean bog", but mine seems to run so rich at idle I was temped to lean the pilots out a bit.
I'll try 2.5 and let you know (I installed a set of remote el screw adjusters, so it's quite easy to experiment).
Thanks

I've got them set at 2 1/3 and it ran super today!! I'm happy with my setup.
Imight have to add a little bit of weight to the tip in the primary as thr RPMs almost reach 9000. But other than that it's great. I'm also very pleased witht e Team Roller Secondary.
Cheers,

In my secondary, I'm running a Red Dark Blue spring with a 52/42 helix (and the second cut is 52/40 for deeper snow). I purchased the secondary from Tom Hartman of Martman Inc.
I purchasd a primary kit from Hartman and he supplied 8CH weights with a 17.2mm rivet in the inner hole and a 13.9 mm rivet in the outer hole. During testing I had trouble getting the revs up over 8000 RPM, so I ended up removinh the outer rivet. HOWEVER.... I soon realized that my trouble was a fouling plug (runnig on only two of three). Once I got her running okay, my revs climbed right up and in fact reach 9000 RPM once she winds up. I am going to be replacing the outer rivet with what Tom Hartman recommended in the first place (13.9mm). I'm pleasd with the performance but I've got to get the revs down 300-400 RPM as I'm losing a little top end.
I calculate that my primary weights will be just shy of 44 grams.
What are you running?
