Just an observation, but I was wondering..."was the Nytro the best choice for the 600 class for Yamaha's entry in the Sno-deo shootout?" I guess the reason I ask is this:
Supertrax points out in their latest article that the Nytro is geared down more for ditch riding and low end grunt. Would the Vector GT have been a better choice or not. Just wondering. I know gearing down to a point can actually help in a short distance, but a quarter mile was the distance they ran.

The Nytro actually was the right choice. It's geared about just perfect for the 1/4 mile and is lighter as well. With a little better clutching there's no reason this sled won't run with any 600 out on the market!
if you are referring to the snogoer performance 600 shoot out, yes it should have been the nytro.... to go against, the rev x, f6, and pol 6; but in the comparo between the cruiser 600's they should have used the Vector GT over the ER, as it has more of the touring adaptations and gidgets that the market asks for there....
