I resently went through my top end on my 700sx. I think that it is running stronger because I am pulling 9200 RPM with the 8CH belt.
I want to run the 8DN and if I understand this right I will increse about 500 RPMs when going to the 8DN. I was running the 8DN prior to the rebuild and was pulling 9200.
I have PSI pipes, 8BF weights that are empty. On a Orange pink Orange spring. secondary is at 70 with stock green spring. 144 studs, ride mostly Gaylord Michigan area. 170LB rider that is good looking.
So finally to my question - where do I add weight to my 8BF's to bring my RPM's back down to 91 or 9200 after going with the 8DN belt???

Can,t answer that question until you know what rpnm,s are with the new belt. You will have to add weight in both holes but gotta know exact rpm,s using that belt.
OK - thanks turk, you are the clutch man/master.
It will probably be the TY munising ride that I will know my RPM's for sure, no snow here in Indiana.
So I only have two holes to deal with in my 8BF weights?? So I should just get some assorted rivets to install when I am there???

Just make sure the RPM info is a little more accurate than the good lookin rider data.
