new to forum, any ideas-hit a boulder at about 35mph, stopped the sled dead in its track-popped the windshield off, broke the motor mounts and bent the bulkhead.Cannot afford a new sled, any ideas beside replacing the complete frame. thanks
Sell it to me???
Yeah, how about selling your sled to me? Got any interest in a mod 780 viper as I would consider a partial trade? By the way, I probably come accross as a vulcher but I also wanted to say that I am really sorry this happend to your sled. I have been there & done that and it is a major bummer.

Thanks for the offer but right now I want to fix it.Outside of the hit, which you cannot see, its mint. Bender triple pipes, clutched by Hamrah Racing,192 chisel tooths etc. the sled rips. I would like to ride it this year then get a 2007 Apex GT.
I hear ya
Yup, I hear ya! If you change your mind let me know. When you say you need a bulk head are you yalking about the front frame section or the front cast piece that holds the top shock mounts or both? Last I knew, Rich Freeman (Rich Motorsports) had a viper front frame. Also, if you change out the front cast piece and the front heat exchanger during the process any pro action front frame piece will work. SRX, SX, V-Max etc.... Another thing to try is Houdons Salvage just north of Utica, NY. Thier number is 315 896-HELP. Last I kne they had two Viper chasis complete with the tunnel, front heat exchanger and front cast piece. One of them still had the belly pans on it. I almost bought one to just switch everything over and save time. They wanted $500-$600 for them last year. Hope this info helps.
