Heated Helmet Sheild???????

Can someone lead me in the right direction of hooking up heated sheild, where to wire it to.
I used to go under the seat to the taillight but I dont like the cable hanging all over. Thanx for the help.

I connected mine to the head light. Always works and never had a problem. only 10-minutes or so.

The blue wire with the white stripe that goes to your dimmer switch under the handle bar pad for +, ground wire to one of the handlebar bolts and you are good to go.

your rx1 will have a block on the top of the battery where you can splice in a hot wire.

I just wired mine to the solid blue wire under the handle bar pad for the brake light switch. It works so far running it in the driveway. I figured if the heated shield draws enough power to dim the lamp, Id rather have it dimming the tail lamp instead of the head lamp. I grounded the heated shield with the airbox mounting bolt. I cant wait to see how it works.

From a safety perspective, you're better off with more tail and less head.

I never noticed any dimming by being wired to the headlight circuit.
