Great job guys.....I'm glad to hear your all OK. It goes to show that being prepared for the unexpected is a must. Having food, spare clothes, tarp and all the other crap can come in handy. It sounds like no one paniced and you knew enough to stop at night fall and prepare for the night. You did everything right when things went wrong...again...great job.

Ryan I was wondering if anyone posted any pictures or did Eric write anything up on what you's had to use or what he will be carrying this year incase the problem arises again? I go to the Snowies too and a guy never thinks it will happen to his group, but every year I guy pushes it a little farther
 
No neither of us posted pics.I will see if my brother can post some for me next week.Eric and me are going out this weekend to the snowies riding.
 
Damn Ryan you are lucky. How have you been? We gotta get a trip lined up for this winter up the U.P. or something. You going on any TY rides?
 
No Eric didn't go last weekend because they had a warm spell.They got 12" last night and there supposed to get 12 today and more tommorrow.So where going thursday or friday night.
Yamaholic that would be great.I'm going on the march ride for shure.

That sounded like a scary adventure, glad you had cells & GPS .
It was an interesting read but dont go there again:).

My condolanes to the families and those who knew the guys who got caught in the avalanche.
