stock drivers and new track.

hey everybody ive got a stock 99srx700 and have heard that you can put up to a 1.75" track on it leaving the drivers stock. is this true? im really looking for a 1.5" track and would like to know what a good track is that you can get w/ 1.5" lugs.. any good setups running out their let me know.. thankx guy ... also im looking at a six pitch but it only has 1.25" lugs, but everyone is saying that this track is killer in any condition. should i just go w/ the sixpitch and forget about the 1.5" lug height.
