Where can you get the short travel front shock lowering brackets that work with the Ohlins?
Pioneer perf sells the shaft extension for them, and so does Richmotorsports. Maxdlx
Thanks , but i thought i saw a post that mentioned drop brackets.
They do make drop brakets too, my bad. Hauck sells them, and mtn perf does, and I think Max perf does. What sled are they for the sx and srx ones are different. Maxdlx
98 SRX, a buddy of mine did the rear long travel and never did anything with front. He doesn't understand why its not railling the corners like it used to!
LOL

Tell him to try flipping the brakets upside down, and from side to side. Gives about 1 inch of front lift for free. Other wise there is a guy on ebay always selling srx drop brakets. Maxdlx

does flipping the brakets work on a sx?
No it doesn't work on an sx. You can't flip them twice like a srx braket. Maxdlx

Shock Brackets
Maxximum is out of them. I just ordered a set for a buddy from Hauck. Maxximum had the widening kit but was out of shock brackets, Hauck ahs lots of them for $49.00 a set. You can use the stock non-Ohlins front shocks. When I did mine I had the Ohlins lengthened by Pioneer, used the brackets and the wide kit. Made a big difference.
