To make things worse... it looks like the current weather pattern will remain the same(midwest) for the next 2-3wks.

It will snow big time in the midwest the first 2 weeks of Feb. This is garenteed. How do I know, because I'll be at Mickey's house with the kids, that should make it snow for you all. Maxdlx
Maxdlx- I hope your right, because at my house all I see is grass! And this weather totally sucks balls!

This is NOT the kind of winter the manufaturers were looking for. I wonder how many more of these they can endure? All I know is the price of used sleds are getting lower. My Viper isn't worth squat around here.

Lack of snow solution.
My recommendation- buy an ATV. I got a Yamaha Raptor 350 a few months ago and it has kept me from getting angry and depressed about the weather and that sled that doesn't get used enough to justify the expense/hassle/ and storage issues. Snowmobiles are a lot faster and are very easy (almost too easy) to ride but almost not worth the trouble these days. I go riding every week, if we have snow I ride the Viper (always the first choice) if we dont I ride the 4 wheeler. I think thats why Im not too depressed about the worst winter ever. On the upside, I probably wont buy another sled after my ViperER and at this rate I should have it for many more years to come. I hope we get dumped on, Im tired of people making fun of me for owning a sled and living in Chicago.
