All of the aluminum suspension pieces I've seen for the Pro Action suspension are listed for mountain use;why is that?Don't the companies that make these bits realize that trail riders want to lighten their sleds as well?I contacted one about their W arm replacement arm and was told it probably would'nt hold up to trail pounding. From some of the mountain videos I've seen the type of trail "pounding" I do is nothing!!!!!!!Are there no light weight parts for the average trail rider?

if you wait a bit, a great contributor to this site (CB Performance) is developing aluminum lightweight parts for pro action suspension for trail use. should be out this winter i believe, don't hold me to it tho. if you want you can try contacting 2000srx, however they are out sleddin as we speak so he will get back to you as soon as he gets in!
Cool. It's about time someone looked after the trail rider instead of the nose bleed boys, sorry but it's just gotta be said.
I recently gave my cousin a hand to overhaul his SC 10 from his Mach 1 and could'nt get over the difference in weight from his to mine. It's time to do something with the skid as loosing a few pounds from the old body probably wont happen anytime soon LOL.

Cb Perf is making a whole light weight rear skid. I think they said 20 l weight lose, but don't hold me to it. Depending on price, I will be first in line. Maxdlx

I've been working on this abit in the last couple months. There IS weight to be pulled out, but if you can't make it stronger at the same time I'm not sure it's worth the weight. the W-arm is the biggest offender I think, but the shafts stand to lose some to.

CB will have a complete suspension kit available soon, all those heavy brackets in aluminum, the front arm will be tubular rather than boxes and the whole thing will be heat treated, a quality piece.
Max, the first one goes in my race sled.............

powder doesn't give a sharp blow like a hard packed trail. no sled will last under continuous video quality action.
if you realy want to loose weigh start by taking all the extra wheels off, and burn though you slides a little quicker.
remember unsrung weigh worsens the ride, sprung weight makes it a little better
