1995 vmax 600 tunnel/heat exchanger protection

I am considering studding my 1995 vmax 600. Lug height is .91". My main concern is protection of the heat exchanger and tunnel. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I studded mine with no problems no need to install tunnel protectors the are built in on my 96
