Gas Mileage

I was wondering what the diff and actual MPG are between a

2001 SRX 700

and

2003 RX-1

Both are totally stock engines....

Rambunctious's 00 SRX 700 gets about 11-13 mpg depending on how we ride.... we compare every time we fill up when riding in the U.P. Sometimes he will put in 10.2 gallons to my 10.3 gallons. He thinks that's great!! LOL!!

As for the RX-1... I really don't know but I've heard guys saying they can get high teens when riding groomed trails.

I have seen high teens on the rx in a group ride, and 8mpg off trail, or when riding with one other person of equal ability. Note... I never had better than 10mpg on my 2 strokes.

Thx guys... I was out this weekend and my RX1 took 6 litres less fuel than my old 01 srx and i was always the best on gas with it so i am really ahead of the game now..
