Need Help...1995 485 fan .....No power

Sled starts and idles perfect .....Low power and only revs to around 5500 rpm Carbs are good .... 125 psi both sides ....exhaust not obstructed ...New CDI ..Any ideas ?????

Check The Pipe For Being Plugged. Animals Build Nests In Exhaust Which Chokes Off Power Output. If Nessary Remove And Run Temporalily Or Replace With Known Unplugged Good Pipe And Try.

Are the plugs inside the carbs in the right place?? If the are in the wrong holes this my be the problem

Check your TORS, Throttle override switch. Bypass the switches by unplugging the two wires at the carbs and plug them into each other.

airbox off...pipe off...tors bypassed .....carbs good to go....same results .....does the stator have both high and low speed windings ???
