electric start on 97 700sx?

can you install elec start on a 97 700 sx with reverse. The reason I am not sure is that if you look on ronnies in the mirco. I cannot find any options for a starter until the 98 models but as far as I know there is no differance between the two is there? My dealer had told me that the kit is a real pain in the *** to install but that was two years ago so I am fuzzy on the details
 
97 sx electric start

no problem, I did it on my 97. I used a kit from a 99 phazer. The only difference was one wire
 
does the kit add alot of weight, I dont know why I am worried about that because when I put my 300 pound *** on the sled I guess it really makes no differance may be some more weight on the front end though?
 
I don't think it was available factory installed but they made it as an add on kit. Reverse was the same way. As far as weight goes, the battery is the heaviest componet. I don't notice the steering to be any heavier
