Literally what the title says. Travelled to the cottage this weekend to find our tent collapsed from the weight of the snow which was supersaturated last week with rain. The tent collpased on the sleds and the viper saved the xtc from a seat piercing. The frame was held up on the seat with one pole and on the side of the hood with another one :yam: . After a few panicked seconds we investigated and started to strategize how to get out. Well the sleds came out and to our surprise were not damaged. After the dig, we managed to get a great day of riding (some 300 km's). Now to figure out how to replace the tent. Another story of Yamaha holding strong!! :WayCool:

Sleds are at the cottage up the driveway. The driveway is about 1000 feet and you can't see the sleds from the road. The driveway isn't plowed either. It's also about 8 miles of gravel road from the highway so it's not travlled too much. The tent is hiden from the lake by the cottage which is about 20 feet away. However, to answer your question, I am very afraid of loosing them. If you look really close at the last picture you can see the chain coming across the viper to the xtc. It is chained to a 20' x 4" steel I beam. There is also a krypton lock on the rear of the sleds. I know if someone really wants them they will just cut the locks, but hopefully I will slow them down and discourage them. No other options of indoor storage right now. Hopefully I can talk dad into building a garage and storing indoors.
