I'm tryiing to get everyones thoughts on a self lubing system for their snowmobiles.
are you talking about a slide lube system.

The astroglide got rid of a squeky bedroom door, I just put a little on the hinge. May pick up a couple sled lengths in a race. I am hearing munising area is icy and gobbling up hyfax. A few people complain of overheating.
for all the grease fittings on the sled. you just keep the bottle full and it will do the rest

seems complicated and ud have to ahve alot of hoses taht could get pinched or cut then ud have a mess on ur hands.
i think this summer, i'll put a kit on mine and post pics

Sounds like a great idea. How would the grease be injected as needed. Pressurized???

At work we use these auto lubers for bearings, I've heard of people using them for the ball joints and tie rod ends on pickup trucks, especially fleet trucks. I think they use one auto luber per vehicle, and a series of fittings, tees, and hoses.

it costs about $3000 to do a bucket loader or a tractor but it can be done with enough$$$$$$$$$$$
i have a buddy by me that works for an auto lube shop and puts it on commercial vehicles and says he'd get all the stuff i need to do it
