Good Day, All!
I own a 2005 RX-1ER. When starting the sled for the first time cold, the sled starts without any problems. Once the sled has warmed up, has been riden for awhile, and has been shut down off for approximately 10-15 minutes, it has a long crank time, misses, spits and sputters until it picks up all cylinders and blows a lot of black smoke out of the exhaust after startup.
I also own a 2005 RS Vector ER. When the sled is idling, the belt squeals "like no other".
The only thing to do is to shut it off as it is annoying. We had the same model last winter season and it did the same thing.
Has anyone heard of or experienced this same issues listed above with their Yamaha sled?
Thanks for your input and thoughts! Have a good day!
