I'm using YamaLube in my 2 stroke, but can I switch to AmSoil? Some people say that you can't switch to synthetic oil once you used non-synthetic oil, ...or do I have that backwards?

Is Amsoil better than YamaLube? If so, why? Is Amsoil more expensive?

Many thanks.

You bet their injector oil is better! So much less stinky. I actually leaned my oil pump some to get about 180miles per quart, up from 80miles per quart with Yamalube and stock settings. I don't recommend this for every sled, but on my 500's, it works very well.

You can mix the oils. You will notice a difference and I think once you use amsoil you will not want to go back. I use amsoil in my cars 4 wheelers boat and everything else with a motor. I am also a dealer

what fuel to oil ratio would this equate to on average?... just find, miles/ quart as difficult to relate to...

thanks
