Question about Ripsaw on 1997 XTC 600

Can someone please tell me the biggest lugged ripsaw you can put on this? A friend of mine wants to buy one and wants to get inch and a half if it'll work. If not what about inch and a quarter?

1.500 will work with no studs and no tunnel protectors. If it has exchanger protectors you will need to remove them as well.

Ok thanks a lot. It doesn't have tunnel protectors or exchanger protectors so I think he's gonna get the 1 1/2" then.

How did the 1 1/2 inch ripsaw work out on your sled? Any clearance issues? I want to install a 1.25 ripsaw in a 97 sx. There are no tunnel or heat exchanger protectors so I think I am okay.
