for a first sled, buying an srx is like starting out on a liter bike. go for the sxr and learn on that. even a 600 would be a good option. my opinion for that

You can always throw pipes on the SX motor to get around 135HP if you want more HP down the road. They respond well to pipes and are reliable with them too when setup properly.
