Let's just say you might want to be wearing a face shield.

if the sx has a good set up it could give the 600 a run but not in the long run.my bro has a 600 and i have the sx700 we line em up all the time.i'll take em out in a short run but thats about it.

yup...with a real good setup tho you can probly be side by side...my sxr(triple pipes, head gasket mod, reed spacers, ripsaw track and transfer rods) is ahead of the srx till 100mph, then he gets me on top, but takes a while

if you set up the sx right, it will smoke the srx600 in anything under 1000ft run, it takes clutching, reed spacers, headgasket peel, jetting to do it, youd be surpised at how well that little single piper can run when properly tuned in. Not to mention its about 40+lbs lighter sled too.
Been der dun dat. 700 sx clutched, thin head gasket, will take a 600 SRX right up till the very top end. I had to port my 600 SRX to beat a very well tuned 700 sx.

I'm getting a great laugh out of this...blah blah blah...with enough mods blah blah blah....and clutching and a set of pipes, and maybe just maybe ...or if the distance is short enough...
blah...srx will win.
Dot. Period.
Don't give the guy false hope.

well for 1 he doesnt need triple pipes to do it, all he needs is to peel the head gasket, install some jetting, reedspacers and a clutch kit, pretty simple if you ask me and sx will make you roll on the ground and cry like a little blah, blah, blah kid. If he lived by you I would set the sled up for free just to watch you get your laugh! Glad your getting a laugh, he who laughs first laughs last!!!
I love it when guys who have NEVER had any experiance with stuff make comments like this...............
Its not false hope, ...its FACT!!

hehe i like mrviper that much more now lol...its true, with a good setup the sx will get the srx

Mrviper and turk speak the truth:i have clutch my sx, silencer mod, stopper notch, the only 2 things i havent done yet is jett it and the head gasket mod.and what i have seen the sx do compared to factory set-up is like night and day.but what i have done woke up this single piped sleeper.

i have owned both, i now have a srx 600 and stock vs. stock, yeah theres no comparison. But a properly set-up sx will hang right with the srx 600.

I have owned 2 600 SRX,s & 1 700 sx & a 700 SX-r. Been down this road a lot of times. 600 SRX needs trail porting, clutching, good track to beat a well set up 700 sx/sx-r.

isnt that funny hahahahahahahaha.can you say sleeper.............turk knows!the deal.
As far as I'm concerned Turk is the EF Hutton of TY. When he speaks I listen.
I would give Turks farts more attention than I would the blabering of some newbies boasting and speculation.

Hey guy's. I am having the very same problem with my 97 sx 700 being kicked bad by a 96 formula 3 skidoo. Turk has been giving me some great ideas as to set ups on my heel clicker clutch, but should i really consider a thinner head gasket and reed spacers??????
