Hey guys any idea what kind of shock I can put on my 1999 sx 600 proaction skid. I think mines are getting pretty old and I was thinking if I can upgrade them to a viper shocks or whatever else you guys recomend or should I take all mines to the dealer and have them charge them all and get them fixed...
Anyone have a set of four for sale....I don't want to spend a fortune, i saw some on ebay, but they are used....and I rather ask first here....
Thanks

if you were happy with the way your shocks rode before the shocks were worn out then just get them rebuilt. If you want more travel get viper or sxr shocks, longer radius rods, limiter straps, and control rod spacers and make it a long travel proaction.

Nicko, I also upgraded my short travel shocks with viper long travel ones. Pretty easy job. The down side is the sled does not turn as precisely as it does with the short travel. A little tippy, but once you get use to it, the upgrade shines especially in the mogal department.
The only thing not done mentioned by Yamaholic are the radius rods. I left those stock.
