What's a good way to clean up the axles/drive rods that run through our wheels in the rear skid? I've taken the grease off with some brake cleaner and there are a few marks and some light corrosion. Will a little bit of metal polish hurt? A green scotch brite pad?

I take them to the wire wheel on my bench grinder. Scotch bright pad is fine.
I am just going to have to bring my skid over to your house and we'll overhaul it!

No problem. Go and enjoy. I'll get those rods from you sometime next week or so. I don't blame you. The reports sound awful nice after the green/brown grass we've been seeing.
