Pic of my sled this December. Just on our cottage road before trails were open.

Pic of me on my sled. This was taken on our lake. Get some nice speed runs! I've hit a touch over 130 kms/hr on the speedo.

My sled in the powder. Pretty deep stuff we had in the beginning of December.

It's a 1991. I bought it last year with only 2300 kms on it. This machine is in great condition. I've looked at some other used sleds, and this one was really well taken care of! I now have 3,200 kms on it.

Nice sled,, how does she run pretty strong???

here's our '94 2,000 miles, nice cond. and she runs damn good;

Just sold my 87 Phazer last year. Dawn good sled, had 12,000 miles on it. The guy that bought it still rides it and uses as his primary sled. Motor has been untouch and runs like it did when I bought it at 2,000 miles.

Hey daman,
That's a very nice looking Phazer! Any modifications to it or is it stock?
Mine runs very strong, I love it. I'm always looking at things to add to it. The pipe is a toss up.

Piped, jetted, & clutched Phazer runs like a stock Exciter. I've got 2 90's & a 91. Wouldn't trade them for anything (well....maybe).

Thanks akrievins!!,,but no she's ALL stock it's the wifes sled we don't
care about speed(80mph is fast enough for her:)) i care about reliability
and good gas mileage. ;)!

"Long live the Phazer"!!!!!

huh, now I want a phazer and I was SURE I was done looking at those. wanted one to play with, then decided the price people wanted for them I would get an xcr 440. now maybe I want a phazer again! nice sleds guys!

I am of the persuasion that you can NEVER have too many. my current plan of th eminute is to put simmons skis on my sled this season, and do a bender reaction this summer. pay off the viper this summer as well. enjoy it next winter. get a new 4 stroke and keep the viper for the fiance, who will be the wife by then. big plans, no idea what will happen before then though lol!

LOL....cool,,,good luck Bro!!! ;)!

LOL...the Phazer is a really fun little sled. They werent the fastest sleds around, but they are so light and easy to toss around that they are a lot of fun on the trails.
Im with you guys, the more toys the better. I used to be big into ATVing and a lot of my friends are into racing and play riding their ATVs and dirtbikes (the one guy has his own MX track on his farm) and sometimes it just kills me when they are all tearing around a jumping their quads that it just makes me wanna blow my budget on a new quad.
In the same token, when I bring in some of the snowmobiling pics I have to show them and see the glee in their eyes when they look at the pics, I know that they feel the same way about sleds. In December they came over when I had my sled out on the lake jumping it and doing wheelies and such, and I could see how much they wish they could afford a nice sled, but cant because they have so much money sunk into their quads. So, its cool. :WayCool:
Ah well, maybe someday I will have a quad again. I can ride my father's Sportsman any time I want, so at least I have that going for me.

Do what I did, went out and bought an '87 YZ 250 for about $500.00, soak a little time and effort into it and ya got yourself a neat little summer play toy. Engines and suspensions haven't changed that much to date (at least to a 48 year old body), so if you don't mind dated graphics, who cares.
