Hey Guys With the Y-Pipe mod of taking 1/2in out of the Y Pipe It claims to gain 5 hp and I've heard you can run a little hirger rpm? like 8000? or does the sled stop pulling hard at 7800?

Hmm, I thought the power band topped off somewhere around 8000. Thanks for the info, time to put in some rivets....
As to my location, I am about 50 miles north of Detroit
I have never heard of that pipe mod before, so I have no idea if it will make it pull harder at higher rpms. I have been doing some clutching, and it has made quite a difference, just need to get the RPMs down a little.
