I just ordered a set of VForce Delta Reeds for my 96 Vmax 600xt.

How involved is the installation? What should I be looking for/doing?

I hear there is no jetting adjustments required.

Any help would be great.

Hey man, where did you get those?? I am been looking all over for them..... are the Delta 2's or the 1st version??

Ebay....actually Caravanman sent me the link. I paid out the asp for them but I'd rather get them then run the price up and loose them. I don't know what version they are...the ad didn't say but the part number is DVS 142-2.

Does that help? Is there a big difference on our sleds between version 1 and 2?

Any luck on that set of psi pipes?

Good to see SOMEBODY bought them!
Pull the carbs unbolt the reeds. To install you just have to trim some rubber out of the way with a sharp knife. The rest of the installation is straight forward.
Talk to ya when i get back from up north about the rods. Leaving soon.

I bid on them and I was still under the reserve and still not the high bidder. I figured, what the heck, they print it everyday.... I don't have any luck winning things on ebay anyhow.

Heck my sled will feel like a new one once it's all back together. I'm even attempting to polish the skid since it's out.

Not a good one thats for sure. I still want them. He said that they must have sold the last ones in the store. Umm...he had photos of it....I wrote him back basically saying, look, I want the one in the photos. Plain and simple.

We'll see what comes out of.

The guy is supposedly looking for them. He thought he had 3 sets and had sold 2 of them, but now the 3rd set is a different model....

What about the Boyesen Power Reeds? Are these similar? They don't look like they are on the cage like the vforce. Do these go in the stock cage?
