Good Deal or Bad Deal?

I'm looking at buying a 2001 SRX, theres one at a marina near my cottage and their selling it for $4900.00cdn with 10,000km's on it. Whats the average price of one with just as many km's or with any amount of km's because $4900.00 seems a little too high.

You are correct, that is quite a bit, especially for 10000 kms on the odometer. Those are almost guarenteed not easy miles either as the SRX was desinged to run fast and im sure it was run fast.

From all the ones iv seen in the auto trader over the last years have been right around $4000 for decent condition ones, less than that for not so good ones and slightly more than 4 grand for good ones at dealers.

Check over the sled for any damage or anything that could possibly show signs of abuse or its history.

So time to move on from the phazers eh?

What kind of performance do you get out of your phazer? I remember reading somewhere that it was really quick?

keep lookin, i saw a brand new one at a dealer here in the states last year they wanted 4500 US.......

you should be able to find a used one for less than 4500 canadian with a lot less kms than that

yeah its a quick phazer, has aaen pipe, 499 wiseco's, ported heads, carbs are all tunned, hitting anywhere from 80 to 90 HP.

Here in Ottawa on the weekend i saw a 2002 with 4300 or 4500KMS for $4500 and i bet he will go down to $4200. It was in the autotrader. They have about 4 of them all around 4500KMS from 1998 to 2002 from $3500 to $4500

Your from Ontario look in the autotrader theres probably 10 for sale from 3500 up to 5500, all years as well. OOps didn't see the last post.

lol yeah i made a list of 15 srx's all within $3500 to $6000 with somewhat low km's anywhere from 630km's to 9000km's and the funny thing is the one near my marina has 10,000kms for $5000 way to over priced.

right now i know of a 01 srx 700 with 2500mi for $3500 us. wish i needed a fourth sled.

yea a srx with 10000k on the speedo which you can most likly add about another 2-4000 to get a true odometer reading i say that sleds worth around 3k CANADIAN

yeah i was thinking the same thing, around $3000-$3200 tops. and add on to that the sales tax.
