that polaris looks identical other than graphics. not really that familiar though........am I missing something?

They do look very similar to the current ones, but do like the new seat on the RMK to the current one, and the paint isnt bad, including the decals, for a polaris.. I knew theyd go for the RMK style headlights on the trail sleds, both IMO arent very good looking but the regular IQ from previous years are terrible looking.

I don't care for the headlights though... on the polaris But might just be me?
And if Honda really wanted to get into the snowmobiling department they would be abled to whenever they want... or they would've already been in. With a dud winter like this it wouldn't be wise... hopefully it's just this winter that's a dud... I don't think it would be a question of filling in the gap that they missed if they did come in... as long as they find the right people to hire. Im sure they have plennnnttty of money to do it if they wanted to. Would be interesting to see what they'd come out with though on a 4-stroke line.

I'm interested in seeing the 07 line of yamaha's...

ya I've seen the numbers, but the race results and the beef under the zuk's power curve are sure hard to argue with. I think yamaha might be exagerating the ram-air effect a fair bit

(yamaha? exagerrate? never!)

atleast the performance of the 2 bikes sure seems to indicate that if there's a 7-8hp advantage, it's sure not on the Yamaha.

I'm wondering when they will drop the 5-valve, the M1 (GP bike) has been a 4 valve for a couple years now, and sure seems to be making some jam (towards the end of the season it looked to be overpowering the 5 cylinder Honda's) maybe we'll get some trickle down from that direction?

Throw away the stock header and EXUP add Graves or TiForce and Bam 20 HP at 7000rpm and 10 on top + more overrev than the Gixer. Both Kawi and Zook have very well designed pipes, very little to be gained in the aftermarket.

In GP the Hondas had a consistent power advantage all year. ;)!

fixed it for ya :D

the 1 has power, no doubt, but I don't feel it's the motor that makes that bike as lethal as it is, it's the balance, it's not the best at anything, but it's 2nd best at almost everything, that's what makes it so incredible.

I was comparing powerplants, with a fullsystem and proper fuel mapping I dont see one being any better than the rest. ;)! ;):D

Honestly, it looks like a f-cat and Rev got drunk and decided to knock up a POO. Is that bad...no, just a mish mash I guess. I'm curious to see the rest. As far as AC doing a 4 stroker, that would be great, but how are they going to do it and maintain their "light weight, lean and mean" profile? I'm sure if they do produce a 4 stroke, they'll make sure it's at least 5 lbs less then the Yammie so they can claim it's "lighter"

:WayCool:

notice the poo isn't called the fusion, just the 600ho IQ. i figured the rmk design would leak into trail eventually. the fusions are awful looking. that ho IQ is alot better

they will do like they did with a firecat. strip it of everything not essential, and a few thing that are essesntial for the first year and tune it to the point of burning down. now they are light and fast. they add 20lbs of isulation, and strength to the chassis. throw in a few needed parts (all the rear idle wheels) and detune it so it lasts a little while. the original idea of super fast and light has stuck, even though they arean tas fast or light as they started. its the cat way. hell, it works for them, why mess with the formula
